or, why every estate agent should be using drones.
There is a lot of buzz about drones of late, and it’s not just the motors. As a result, you may have been wondering how they can help you get the best price for your property, faster. Or maybe you’re an estate agent, and potential clients have been asking whether you provide an aerial service. Either way, here’s why you should be using drones to market your property.
Aerial footage is enormously informative.
With a drone shot you can capture the real scope and feel of the property, and its surroundings. For example, a potential buyer will find it difficult to discern the scale of a garden, no matter how many standard images you provide. Throw in a drone photograph, or video, and it is easy to appreciate the space on offer.
People share drone imagery.
One of the greatest, cheapest, and most enduring advertising coups any business can pull off, is a campaign, advert, or linked web content ‘going viral’. While drone footage will not guarantee ‘going viral’, it is far more likely that online viewers will share a property listing which contains impressive aerial footage.

Indoor drone footage, is novel and exciting.
The camera can glide from room to room, upstairs and down hallways, for the ultimate online tour. Likewise, static photographs can be turned into interactive 360 degree photospheres, giving prospective buyers a better idea of the layout and the available space.
It’s fresh, at least for now.
The likelihood is that an innovation with this many benefits, won’t stay that way for long. But for now, aerial images and videos still have the wow factor to pull in the extra- viewings, and ultimately secure a sale.
Today’s property market is brutal, and with well over 1,000,000 UK property sales taking place annually it can be hard to stand out from the pack. That is, unless you’re using drones; if you’re using drones, then you are so far ahead of, and above the pack, that the pack is a trifling dot to you – you are the flying estate agent!
